Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Trusty Dose exists to give you medication clarity, and that only works if you can trust us with sensitive information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the commitments we make about your health data.

Two commitments come first: we do not sell Health Wallet data, and we do not use your health data for advertising targeting.

Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, sign-in methods, plan, and language preference.
  • Health Wallet data you enter: profiles for people and pets, medications, allergies, supplements, conditions, notes, contacts, and saved reports.
  • Scan uploads: label photos you scan or upload, and the text extracted from them.
  • Symptom Clarity inputs: the descriptions you submit and the educational results generated.
  • Usage data: device and browser information, pages used, and reliability diagnostics.

How we use your data

  • To operate Trusty Dose: generate Trust Reports, run scans, provide Symptom Clarity, translate labels you request, and keep your wallet in sync.
  • To maintain safety and reliability: debugging, abuse prevention, and service protection.
  • To communicate with you about your account, plans, and material changes.
  • We use aggregated, de-identified usage patterns to improve the product. We do not use your identifiable health data to train advertising systems.

What we never do with Health Wallet data

  • We do not sell it.
  • We do not rent or share it with data brokers.
  • We do not use it to target advertising.
  • We do not show it to other users unless you explicitly share it (for example, caregiver sharing on the Family plan).

Payments

When paid plans launch billing, payments will be processed by Stripe. Trusty Dose does not store full card numbers; payment credentials are handled by the payment processor under its own privacy policy.

AI and translation processing

Report generation, label extraction, and Label Translation use automated AI processing. Content is processed to provide the feature you requested, under agreements that prohibit our processors from using your content to train their models. Medication names, strengths, units, and directions are preserved exactly in translation output.

Children and family profiles

Trusty Dose accounts belong to adults. Family profiles for children exist so caregivers can organize household medication information; they are controlled by the account holder and are covered by the same Health Wallet commitments.

Pet profiles

Pet profiles and veterinary information receive the same protections as human profiles. Pet data is Health Wallet data.

Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, and the principle of least access, staff access to identifiable health data is restricted to what is required to operate and support the service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you as required by law.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete content or close your account, we delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, except where the law requires longer retention (for example, billing records).

Your controls

  • Export: download a copy of your wallet data from Account settings.
  • Delete: remove individual entries, profiles, or your entire account.
  • Language: choose English or Spanish at any time.
  • Communication: manage what non-essential email you receive.
